Wake-On-LAN via local IP address

I have a very simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I am connecting to my office lan network via vpn and accessing the local server via local ip address instead of TV id. I have set up wol according to the official manual, but on the client side I can't find the "wake" button anywhere. The manual only covers waking the remote partner that is saved in computers&contacts, but you cannot save the remote partner with just the ip address. Can somebody please help?

    Hello @NeiDai

Thank you for your message and welcome to the TeamViewer Community! ?

In a Wake-On-LAN context, TeamViewer needs to ping a TeamViewer ID (that has to be saved in the Computers and Contacts list) in order to wake up a computer.

Therefore, the computers and contacts list cannot be bypassed in this process.

It is, unfortunately, not possible to save IP addresses in the C&C list, only TeamViewer IDs can be saved.

I hope this could help. ?

    Best regards
