Connecting to a device question

Just curious I was talking to a friend that has a “forever license” with QS/TV 12 as he calls it. And I finally figured out why I couldn’t connect to some devices running a older Qicksupport using TV 15 till Quicksupport was updated.

My question is if my friend that has this “forever license” and needs to log into a recently updated device I did would he be able to have access with his forever QS/TV 12 license on the updated devices ?

    Thank you for your post.

    If I understand correctly, your friend can use his TeamViewer 12 perpetual license on TeamViewer 12 or lower versions. But please be aware that outgoing connections from TeamViewer can only connect to a remote device running the same or lower version of TeamViewer. To download older versions or update his current TeamViewer plan to the latest version, please check out here.

    So if I update QS to whatever the newest google play version would be can he still connect ?
