Apply license without login?

Options

We've been a long time user of TeamViewer. We include the TeamViewer full client in our base workstation Windows "image" which is applied to all new workstations at our organization.

In years past, after installing TeamViewer to the master workstation the image is based off of, we would also apply our Corporate license using our license key.

With the latest version of TeamViewer (though I believe it started in v12), it appears as though the only way to apply a license to the client is logging in with a TeamViewer account. We absolutely do not want to store TeamViewer credentials on every one of our workstations.

I reached out to support and they claim this is the only way to license the software now. I can't imagine we're the only ones with the concern of storing credentials - especially in this day in age.

How are others dealing with this limitation?
