No connection to TeamViewer Server - Please check your internet connection
I have never even touched the proxy settings in teamviewer ever. I have no programs that should be interfering with my network/port settings AT ALL aside from teamviewer. Haven't had a problem for years until lunch today, in which I stopped being able to access the device I usually connect to.
Teamviewer is the only program on my main PC that is having trouble with connections. I checked on the device (PC I use as a server on the other side of the house) and it is connecting to teamviewer without any errors or problems.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot this stuff outside of what I've done already, so some assistance is greatly needed.

I had this problem in the past on my computer, but this is quite often problem on my clients computer when we trying to connect to them.
For solving this problem, my experience with this problem so far has allowed me to develop the following procedure:
- Check your internet connection
- Check your firewall
- Turn your network card OFF/On (few times)
- Restart TeamViewer program (few times)
- Restart computer

I have installed TeamViewer on my new laptop, no issues. I have downloaded it on another old machine within my LAN. No issues, connects as expected.
I take my new laptop to my patents house to set up connection.
Connect to their router.
I am unable to connect to TeamViewer. I get looks like you’re offline. please check your connection.
I am not offline. I can speed test, open browsers etc. No issue me getting out on the internet.
Try to download TeamViewer on my parents windows 11 machine, same issue. looks like you’re offline. please check your connection.

Hello @RichHelp
Welcome to our Community and thank you for your first post! 🌏️
What user, mLipok has posted above is a great go-to set of troubleshooting steps. I want to add, is related to checking your firewall.
As the key thing with your issue is that it is happening when connected to a specific network, I suggest performing port forwarding with that router using the information provided in the Knowledge Base article pasted below.
Sometimes your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may be able to help if the router being used is being provided by that ISP.Let us know how it goes and if you need further help. 👍️
