    Hello @Arvena11,

Some devices do not support remote control.

Maybe you could you to contact ASUS and ask them if their hardware is compatible allows remote control .

  • So nobody run to the same issue before?

  • Hello @Arvena11

I have the same issue with a P01M tablet. As per Teamviewer KnowledgeBase, the installation of Teamviewer Host or QuickSupport should automatically trigger the installation of the required Addon on the targetted remote device.

Did it worked for you ?

It didnot for me. I have a message saying that this device can be remotely controlled, but I need a specific Addon that I must ask to TeamViewer support... who does not give support to my free plan.

I also read on the KB that the minimum required Android version is 7, while my device is 6. This is probably the explanation in my case.

Note that my TeamViewer PC does succeeds to connect to the tablet, but only to display basic system information. I can't open a screen sharing session (nor View nor Control).

Did you solve your issue ? if so, how ?

    Best regards,

    Alexandre

    Hi @AlexBelz35,

Thank you for your message. 🙂

I think that the issue here is that you are running Android 6.

This is a hard requirement to perform any remote control actions.

Is there any chance you can update Android to a newer version on your tablet?
