COM ports changed after installing TeamViewer

I have a Windows machine with three serial devices connected to it. When rebooting the machine I want the three devices to be connected to the same three COM ports after booting. This was working for me predictably and after booting I would see the same devices connected to the same COM ports.
After installing TeamViewer the COM ports seem to be randomly assigned to the devices and I cannot predict which COM port will be assigned to which device on reboot. Is there some process managing COM port assignment in TeamViewer?
