Users unable to change settings

When users open Options ind TeamViewer, they aren't able to change any settings (everything greyed out).

When running Teamviewer as Administrator I'm able to change settings - but this seems to be the administrators settings - not the logged in user's.

The application has been distributed to all PC's via 3.party-product Heimdal.

When I install the client manually users can change settings whitout prolems. Any suggestions ? (manual installation on all client PC's is not an option 🙄)

Hello @yesbor,

We only support mass deployments of TeamViewer via the .msi file is supported.

Thank you for your answer.

The problem was caused by af registry-setting that was added during installation from Heimdal. So changing this key via GPO did the trick for me 🙂

HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TeamViewer\Security_Adminrights = 0
