TeamViewer slow on Ubuntu 20.04

I just installed Ubuntu Server 20.04 and added an xfce GUI. TeamViewer v15.10.5 was very slow - two to five second delays when attempting to perform any action with the GUI. This didn't happen with TeamViewer Ubuntu Server 18 with an xfce GUI.
