I'm having an issue with changing the teamviewer password through command line. I have ~50 devices that I had to change the password for, they are more or less identical and run ubuntu 18. I did the password change through my program that I run on the devices using the command "sudo teamviewer passwd newpass" and this…
When I click Files & Extras > File Transfer then "Receive files / folder" option is greyed out and on mouse-over I get "The remote side doesn't support this feature." displayed.
This problem has been reported before in this forum (as far back as 2021!) but it still seems to persist in 2025. Am using Ubuntu 22.04 and TeamViewer 15.61.3 on both the local and remote machines. When the remote machine has the same screen resolution as my local monitor (2560 x 1440 in this case), when I go into full…
Hello. I've been working on a project for quite some time for a community college. I need to be able to remotely control a screen from another computer and so I have arrived at teamviewer for a potential solution. However, I'm running into a problem. I have been able to successfully remote in to one raspberry pi, but the…
I'm trying to install Teamviewer on my Pi5 so a friend can help me install some other software that's particularly tricky to configure. The problem is, I can't even install Teamviewer for Pi. Following the instructions on the Teamviewer website I enter: apt install ./teamviewer_15.58.4_arm64.deb in the terminal, and…
I am running TeamViewer full client 15.61.3_ARM64 on a server running Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS ARM64. I cannot use Easy Access to connect to my server from my Windows 10 machine running TeamViewer 15.61.4. Whenever I try to connect to the server from Windows, TeamViewer’s window shows connecting for a couple of minutes before…
I am connecting to Teamviewer Host 15.61.3 running on a Debian 12.8 server. The connection succeeds and it is possible to interact with the host but then after a small amount of time (typically between 10 and 30 seconds) the screen turns completely white. Disconnecting and reconnecting succeeds and things again initially…
Hi, I'm connecting to my Ubuntu 20 machine at home from my Ubuntu 20 laptop at work, both screens are 1920x1080, but when I enter fullscreen mode I get scrollbars on my window on the client. Is there any way to turn them off and clearly, they shouldn't be appearing in the first place.
Hello, I have purchased a TeamViewer Remote Access license but I cannot connect to older versions of TeamViewer. When two other users who also have purchased a license tried it, they were able to connect to this computer.
So I am wondering if anyone has found a work around for this. My company uses fido2 security keys to log into teamviewer. When launching teamviewer and logging in it comes to a screen stating another screen will popup to finish authentication. Nothing ever pops up. Any ideas?
