Can or how do I wake up my WIRELESS win 10 computer

I bought a new desktop computer that connects to my network wirelessly And now I am not able to access the computer through team viewer. It says that my team viewer is either not running or my remote computer is disconnected from the Internet. I have ensure that team viewer is running on the computer. And I am pretty sure that when it goes to sleep it hasn’t disconnected from the Internet.

Is Wake-on-LAN The only way that I can wake up my remote computer? I’m pretty sure that I have been able to wake up my wireless laptop in the past??

Yes, Wake-on-LAN is the only feature that can wake up a laptop.

So I hardwired the same computer with an ethernet cable. I still can not connect to this computer.

I have since upgraded windows to 11 but even when it was Win 10 I could not connect.

I can RDC with my mother's computer to help her but I can not connect to this new one.
