Cannot connect but everything is on

So I have been trying to connect to a PC through a TeamViewer for some time now. My device is allowed by the TeamViewer. I have also connected before multiple times. For a few weeks I have been getting an error saying," Either your partner isn't connected to the internet or your partner's TeamViewer isn't running yet. Please tell your partner to check his/her internet connection or to start TeamViewer." Both of us are connected to the internet, and our TeamViewers are up and running. If someone has a solution please send it my way!

  • Trying to assist a neighbor in this pandemic, I was able to convey instructions for them to install and initiate TeamViewer under Windows and when I tried to connect, the screen simply sat saying 'connection in progress' and never completed. I've used the tool many times with other friends and neighbors and never seen this before (Version 15.14.5 (32-bit)).
