I'd like to suppress the What's New popup from coming up after Teamview installs a new client. We are running TV on remote kiosks that the public views so I don't need that popping up.
Thanks.
Can this please be added as a feature request? It causes us a lot of problems on our kiosk machines
Hello @dorr,
Currently, it is not possible to disable this pop-up.
I'm facing the same issue here too.
Same goes for launching the whatever-pages in web browser. TeamViewer randomly opens Edge with some "what's new" type of page.
This is totally unacceptable. Makes it even worse that clicking "don't show this message again" doesn't have any effect at all. This breaks the user experience completely (Not talking about TeamViewer UX, but the context in which TeamViewer is being used).
These kind of features should be opt-in, not opt-out.
So annoying for paid* users and managers.
So confusing and interrupting for the end-user, clients and laypeople.
Totally sends the Wrong message of TeamViewer.
Forced advertising is just bad manners in this case*
