Cannot install desktop application

Hello,

I cannot install the TeamViever desktop application v.15.15.5 on Windows 7 x64. During installation I get error message:

Verification of your TeamViever version failed! TeamViever will quit for security reasons. Please reinstall TeamViewer.

Reinstallation ends up with the same error message. I have added my desktop as trusted device via TeamViewer's email link and can access my TeamViewer account through Chrome web browser. TeamViewer works fine on my laptop which is also part of my computers listed on my TeamViewer account.

Please help me identify and solve the TeamViever installation problem. I thank in advance everyone who responded.
