UserAgent contains "Windows" cause redirection to version 14

Hi,

Our software download TeamViewer 15 from the link in the homepage, but it always result in installer of version 14. After investigation, I found that if UserAgent contains the word "Windows" then the link https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup.exe redirect to https://download.teamviewer.com/download/version_14x/14.2.56676/TeamViewer_Setup.exe.

Could you please explain the behavior? If possible, please disable this redirection since our software requires using this UserAgent value.

Thank you @JeanK. But our problem is different. I could demonstrate with these commands:

"curl -O -L https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup.exe" -> returns version 15

"curl -O -A windows -L https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup.exe" -> returns version 14.

"curl -O -A 'SomeDownloaderTool/1.0.0.0 Windows/10.0.0.0' -L https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup.exe" -> returns version 14.

A minor update: If the user agent contains "windows/" (with a slash) then the problem happens.

Hello @vinhcomputer,

If your computer is running Windows XP or Vista, it is expected that it automatically downloads TeamViewer 14, as Windows and Vista are not compatible with TeamViewer 15.
