Cannot connect from web page

When I attempt to connect to one of my devices via the webpage, the connecting screen pop up displays for a second or two, but no connection is established.

I am using chrome v. 89.

There is an error in the console:

Failed to launch 'teamviewer8://remotecontrol?connectcc=...' because the scheme does not have a registered handler.

Does anyone know how to fix this error?
