TeamViewer not updating

There was an error rendering this rich post.

I just tried to update teamviewer to newest version. It seems to have uninstalled the previous version but doesn't install the new one.

And I am now NOT allowed to install a downloaded version. It is prompting me that a 32 Bit version is installed - what it not true.

How do I solve this issue?

Hello @McKnightDK,

Yes, in this case, you will need to uninstall TeamViewer (32 bits) manually and install the latest version in 64 bits.

Once you will have the 64 bits version, it will update without any issues.

The instructions for updating Team Viewer do not work. If you rightclick on it, either from the Task Bar, or from the programs list, Update is not an option. If you open the app and go to Settings, the options that are shown do not appear. Have been unable to find any way to update the app. Am currently running 15.45.4 and was hoping to upgrade to 15.46.7
