Setting Teamviewer.exe windows 10 service

To run when I open Teamviewer main program, what happens if I turn the service to manual, does it runs when needed by teamviewer program? What happens if I set it to Automatic (later)? If I need the services stopped until i open the main program, do I have to stop it and run it every single time?
