android mobile password prompt

I am trying to connect my windows teamviewer client to host on android phone. the phone only shows the connect id, and no password. So when I try to connect it prompts for a password that I don't have or at least dont know what it is. Is there a way to find the password and/or set it? OR how can I connect?

i am having same issue. i check med id its all correct. i am trying to connect via team viewer app in another phone with same login. O am able to connect via login.teamviewer.com using web interface. but using android app it always ask for password.

Hello @jamiebla20,

The Android Host only works with unattended connections.

It means, that no password is needed. It will automatically connect.

If you are prompted for a password, it means that you are probably trying to connect to the wrong ID.

Please check if the ID you are connecting to is the one on your phone.
