Formatting MacBook display for optimal viewing on smartphone

Hey,

Does anyone have any advice for changing the display of a MacBook to make it better for viewing on a smartphone, through TeamViewer?

I would like to make everything bigger, and change the dimensions of the screen to be a portrait rather than landscape.

I haven't found a way to do this. Maybe there's a 3rd party app?

Otherwise, I could try switching to Ubuntu or something.
