Running TeamViewer on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. Since update to 15.8.4 and then 15.8.5, TeamViewer crashes within seconds of starting, have reverted to 15.8.3. Any ideas?

Which TeamViewer version are you running? 32 bits or 64 bits?
Please make sure to uninstall the 32 bits version and install the 64 bits version:
I tried the 64-bit version. Same problem, TeamViewer crashes within seconds of starting.
C:\Program Files\TeamViewer\TeamViewer15_Logfile.log shows a number of error messages, including:
G1!!!CRASH: Unhandled C++ exception at 00007FFB15184B89: Type unknown (Exception Code: 0xE06D7363)
and
G1!!!CRASH: Saved dump file to 'C:\Users\david\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer\TeamViewer_15_18_5_x64_20210609T230921.mdmp'

As we have published version 15.8.5, could you please try again and tell us if it works now?
Same problem with 15.8.5, crashes withing seconds of starting.
We have a mitilar problem with 15.48.4 (32 Bit/64Bit):
"C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer\TeamViewer.exe" -i machine-01 -P password1 kills teamviewer … What can I do to help you finding the problem?
