Do both computers need to have a paid license

I log into a client's computer once a month.  Does  my client and I both need a paid license

@MBertcher_2021 How about if I have a TeamViewer license, and the person accessing my PC has a trial version, will it work?

Thank you for contacting us and welcome to TeamViewer Community.

As TeamViewer only requires license authentication on 1 side of the remote connection. If you own a TeamViewer license, you may connect to your client anytime. And the remote side(client) can remain using free version of TeamViewer.
