No Gui appears

Hello


Using Teamviewer 12 Corporate since years on my Debian Linux

Last Week my DSI decide to upgrade the version to TeamViewer15

OK. I uninstalled the old version and install the new one


Now it seems to be possible to install the 64 bits version 😀

Nice

I downloaded the deb package teamviewer_15.18.5_amd64.deb and installed it

/opt/teamviewer/tv_bin/teamviewerd -d is running

but the GUI does'nt appears

Checking logs don't give me the solution


Browsing dedicated Internet Forums, I find many talks about a possible problem with login manager ...

suggesting to install the tar version to solve the problem

OK i uninstall deeply the deb version

download the teamviewer_15.18.5_amd64.tar.xz

untar it

and launch teamviewer

Again the GUI does'nt appears


Using Debian Buster/bulleyes (10/11)

Kernel 5.10.0-7-amd64

No Display Manager

Tests done and failed under xfce4 and gnome


Checking dependencies

$ ./tv-setup checklibs

   -=-  TeamViewer tar.xz check  -=-     

 In order to use the tar.xz version of TeamViewer,

 you have to make sure that the necessary libraries are installed.

   Writing raw output to /home/jissou/temp/Telechargements/teamviewer/logfiles/DependencyCheck.log

 Analyzing dependencies ...           

   All library dependencies (*.so) seem to be satisfied!

   QtQuickControls seems to be installed


It' a shame we can't attach log file !

Anyway the DependencyCheck.log file but all seems fine


Gui.log file do'nt give anything excepts few warnings about gtk.css

  • not a valid color name
  • Junk at end of value for border-width


startup.log file seems OK

So whats wrong exactly with the GUI ?
