Where I can find the download link for the TeamViewer v 14.2 Host for Windows Xp? Could you maybe please provide me with a download link? I checked in the previous version section and only the 14.7 version is available.

Thank you,

Mihai.

    HI Mihai,

The download should recognize your XP and give you the correct version automatically. At least this is what we planned as far as I know 💡

Would you be willing to give it a try and download TeamViewer 14.7 and see whether you get 14.2? https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/previous-versions/

    Thanks, Esther

Thanks Esther for your prompt reply. I will give it a try and let you know.

  • This is either not working or there's confusion about what's being asked.

In my case, I have a Davi roller on our shop floor with a Windows XP Embedded system connected as a "controller". We need support for the Windows XP Embedded system and Davi tells us to update TeamViewer to enable them to connect. I have a current Business license for TeamViewer, so I'm at the latest version on my laptop. What version should I be downloading and installing onto the Windows XP Embedded system? 14.7 is what the TeamViewer website gives me when I choose the version 14 button, but that throws a version error when I try to install it onto the WinXP Embedded system.

    Hi @SaucyKnave,
Thanks for reaching out to our community!

According to our article Supported operating systems for TeamViewer, you would need to install TeamViewer version 11–14.2 on your Windows XP - the newest version wouldn't be compatible with it.

Please keep in mind that, with a license, you can use the newest TeamViewer Remote to connect to any older version; however, the older version only connects with their same version or a version below.

Does the Windows XP device only receive connections? Or do you need to start connections from this device too?
If it only receives connections you can use v 11–14.2 on the Windows XP, and the newest version on your laptop.

You should be able to install v13 on Windows XP from our website or contact our support team via ticket to request a v14.2.

Let us know how it goes and if you need further help.
    Best, Carol
