I am trying to connect from my lap top to a remote PC but the connection is not established, and no error message appear. It only shows "Ready to connect (Secure connection)" at the bottom without showing the password window to enter the password or even connecting directly if there is no password.

The weird this is, If I try to connect from the remote PC it self to my laptop it works fine. Please let me know why I have this problem and how can I solve it.

P.S I re-installed the software but did not help

    Hi Hossam,

Did you at one point activate the 2FA for connections for the remote PC?

    Thanks, Esther

  • Hi Esther, Thank you for your quick response.

Actually no I have not activate it, we only use PC's and laptops to connect to the remote desktop. The message I get from computers and contacts tab is "Connection not established, Authentication cancelled"

Please let me know how can we solve this.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.

What is set on the remote PC under Extras --> Options --> Advanced --> Under Advanced settings for connections to this computer at Access control?

  • Hi Esther, today we have reviewed the settings you sent as you can see below.

I have tried to connect from my laptop to the PC but not successful. However, from the PC we could connect to my laptop.

The below message appears (Connection not established, Authentication cancelled)
