Hi, I'm having trouble with accessing all of my remote pcs. It says Could Not Establish Connection - Authentication Cancelled. I'm signed in correctly, correct passwords, Teamviewer up-to-date. Any help?

So no one addressed this? I'm seeing this a lot now where trying to connect to a remote computer does this. Happens from different systems as well. If I close out of TeamViewer and re-open it then it connects just fine. I guess I'll be calling support about it.

  • Any word from support?

    Try disabling IPv6.

    Hello all,

I would recommend (as a first try) restarting the TeamViewer service on your computer.

If this does not solve the issue, you will need to restart the TeamViewer service on the remote computer as well.

We explain how to proceed right here:

Let me know if this could help!

    All the best,

  • This content has been removed.
  • TeamViewer has no interest in addressing this. They're not going to help you. You can send somebody to the remote site to reboot or restart TeamViewer, and provide TV the logs, which they'll do nothing with.

In my case the problem comes and goes on it's own, and moves from remote computer to remote computer. This is a TeamViewer issue and likely has nothing to do with the remote computer at all.

TeamViewer - remote access software that requires CONSTANT manual intervention. Zero support with a Corporate License.

Way to go TeamViewer! Keep up the good work.

We've been experiencing this since June. Curious, is anyone else using 2 factor authentication?

  • We're plagued by this too. Specifically it happens when connecting in and out of China.

Connections internally in China seems to be unaffected.
