I am not a Mac guru, and only started learning some of the Mac OS about 4 months ago.
To provide some background, I was able to remote into my Brother's older MacBook Air without any issue to help him out. I was able to connect without him being there or entering any sort of password.
Now he has purchased a new Mac Mini (M1) to replace the older MacBook Air. I helped him install TeamViewer on the new Mac Mini. I thought I configured TeamViewer correctly, but 8 hours later when I logged into TeamViewer on my home PC - I am not able to connect to his Mini (the device is listed but is Offline).
Just before I left his house yesterday, I made sure TeamViewer was running. I was able to see the device listed as online on my iPhone (cell only) with the TeamViewer app for iOS.
So what changed 8 hours later? Today his Mini is offline.
Is there some time-out setting on the Mac Mini or in TeamViewer that I am missing that is putting either to sleep?
Is there some log I should look at to determine what is going on?
Any help would be appreciated.
