Is there a better way to use a mouse on TeamViewer for iPad?

Currently, the way you control the cursor on a remote PC on TeamViewer for iPad is that dragging your finger does not click and drag but instead moves the cursor and clicking anywhere on the iPad screen clicks where the cursor is. I think this makes sense for a touch screen device. However, I use a keyboard and mouse with my iPad and when using a mouse or trackpad, this method of moving the cursor is extremely annoying. Is there a setting that can make the iPad cursor move the remote PC’s cursor? I’ve tried enabling and disabling Swiftpoint mouse and seen no difference.
