UDP port on router open but still file transfer awful.
Hello.
Me and my brother opened port 5938 on our routers but still the file transfer is awfully slow.
Is there an old version that works? And where could we find it?

Do you know if both sides of the connection (your device, and your brother's device) are using UDP?
You can check it by going to Extras --> Options --> Advanced --> Show advanced Options --> It will be listed under Advanced network settings.
If this option is turned off, the connection will automatically use TCP (and it could cause the transfer file to be slower).
Please double check your settings first, and if this does't resolve the issue, please provide us more information like:
- What is the TeamViewer version on both sides of the connection?
- What is the OS on both sides?
- Was it working before, or it was always slow?
- Does the issue happens only when you transfer files to your brothers device, but all others it works just fine?
- Can other devices transfer files to your brothers computer without any speed issue?
