Automatic Updating via TV Policy

Is anyone leveraging the "Install new versions automatically" policy in conjunction with the "Check for new version" policy in TeamViewer?

I have both enabled on a test group of computers, and it does not seem to be working properly. My endpoints are on the 15.x version and I do not want to have to manage updates for TV anymore, would prefer they stay on the latest build on their own.

Is there anything specific that has to be done to allow this to work? My end users do NOT have local admin rights, but it is my understanding that this is not required due to the local privileges the installed TV service has.

Advice is welcomed!

    Ugh, just discovered that the version needs to be at 15.21 or higher...
