formuler GTV Add-on not working

Hello support team,

I've tried everything to get this add-on to work but no luck. I'm just unable to get the remote control option to work. I tried the Universal Add-on which ended up displaying the remote screen but did not allow remote control. The add-on is not findable on the play store for some reason and the "Install Third-Party Add-on" in settings is greyed out.

Included are some pictures i took with the version of QS, the GTV add-on version and the Google play store version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the only box with an add-on for teamviewer, the other models all use the universal add-on which works beautifully.

  • I ended up figuring it out. See, i have a license for teamviewer 11 which is the version i’m stuck on. I tried on a virtual machine with the latest version and it worked. I’ve only tried on 1 GTV but if you’re running the latest version and have the add-on installed it should work. Let me know if you need help finding the add-on

    Hi, after trying everything TeamViewer not working with formuler gtv, and the universal add on not compatible with this device anyone knows how to fix this??

  • Download and use latest version of teamviewer on your computer.

    On your GTV, Install normal teamviewer quicksupport as well as the GTV addon.

    that’s it. Picture and navigation should be visible and functional

    Formuler GTV is not part of our supported manufacturers. Therefore, TeamViewer is expected to not work properly on your device.

    Hi @JeanK , The Formuler GTV is part of Supported manufacturers. ( look the screen shot ) I use it for all model of Formuler device (z-7,z-8,z-10) and its work fine exept for the GTV... :(

    I'm not sure if you can look into this or not but it would make our lives so much easier. Basically, during a remote session if video is playing, teamviewer actions function but the image is completely still/freezes until going to a menu or home screen without any video playback which refreshes screen at which point we can start seeing again. The freezing occurs on the device remotely connected and not the physical one.

    It doesn't do this on other Formuler devices. Granted they're not on the AndroidTV OS but we can still navigate even though it slows down the refreshment rate drastically. Actions take a few seconds to appear versus the GTV which is pretty much stuck.
