So I signed up for TV quite a while ago and have since then stopped using it for years. I had no idea how to cancel the subscription so I canceled the auto subscription on Paypal, which I thought would take care of the cancellation since if I don’t pay they could just stop my service. I believed that to be the case until I received a sketchy email asking me to pay for the service which I totally ignored since I thought it was a scam email. Then, I received the email again stating that if I don’t pay, they will take legal actions against me. Not gonna lie, I didn’t trust that email fully until I googled a bit and found out others have had similar email. So, I went to teamviewer.com/payment and put in my invoice and paid the overdue amount. After that, I tried to log in using my account so that I can open a support ticket and tell them to cancel my subscription. But then it seemed that my account was removed since I couldn’t log in using any of the passwords I know. I chose the “I forgot my password” option and still didn’t receive any email to change my password. Then, I tried to check whether or not my account was still there by signing up for TV again using the same email, which turned out I could. So basically, I can’t access my old account which I paid for since it no long exists. So what am I supposed to do? Will I be charged for my old account even though it’s no longer there? Do I need to pay even more?since I only paid the amount shown on the invoice, not the amount stated in the email about legal actions.
