Cannot connect to TeamViewer on Mac

My friend has TeamViewer on Mac with version 15.25.5 and mine is TeamViewer 15.25.8. When we try to connect it gives an error saying Unknown error. Is it because of version difference? The latest version on mac is 15.25.5.

This error usually stems from one of the devices not successfully communicating with the TeamViewer servers.

We do recommend updating both devices to the latest version, but you can also try restarting the TeamViewer service manually.

The best solution, if the issue persists, is to uninstall TeamViewer completely and install the latest version as a fresh installation.
