How do i reset the options dialog password?

I forgot my options dialog password that allows me to change preferences. How do i reset the password?

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!

The password you can set to protect users from changing options in TeamViewer is only stored on the device itself - TeamViewer does not retain a copy of this password on our side.

This means, however, should this password be forgotten, or was set incorrectly, you would need to uninstall TeamViewer, including removing the settings, and re-install a fresh copy.

Thanks. That solved it.

I have the same issue, but when i uninstall TV and reinstall again, i still have to enter a password (which i forgot) when i want to open the options.
