instructions how to accept a request to connect

I need to connect to a remote computer that is not set up with easy access. They need to accept my request to connect.

Can you please send me a screenshot of what such a request looks like on the receiving end?

And clear instructions suitable for an unexperienced user how to accept the request?

They see the request, but they click on reject instead of accept, and I don't know what it looks like on their end in order to explain it to them...

    Hello @shmu26

    Thanks for your post.

If you connect using a session code or the connection option Prompt for confirmation, the remote user should see a window appear on their screen, indicating the request:

If they click Allow you will be connected to their screen.

As you can see, there is an auto-cancel timer on the Cancel button - if no action is taken, the pop-up window will disappear.

Also, to ensure no accidental connections, you can also see Cancel is highlighted - perhaps your users are hitting ENTER, thinking it will allow?

I hope this helps! If there is anything else we can help with to make connections easier, please let us know!
