TeamViewer drops on Windows 11
Just bought a new Dell PC running Windows 11 and discovered a problem.
On my Windows 10 PC I'm running TeamViewer and I can see my new Windows 11 PC running TeamViewer Host, until Windows 11 goes into Sleep mode.
Once this happens, TeamViewer (on Windows 10 PC) shows the Windows 11 PC Offline.
I have to physically wake Windows 11 by keypress or mouse movement, only then will TeamViewer show it back online.
I have tried everything I know but can't stop Windows 11 from powering down the Ethernet controller.
If anyone has any suggestions or fix, I would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
In my case I wasn't even able to install the TeamViewer on my brand new laptop with Windows 11 (upgraded online from Windows 10).
If somebody has experienced such kind of problem, please share how you have solved it.
I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks.

In my original case, a Microsoft support specialist resolved my issue.
In Windows 11, right-click on the Start button to access Power Options.
Then under Screen and sleep, goto to "When plugged in, put my device to sleep after (scroll down to Never)"
Problem solved!

There might be a permissions issue in your Windows 11.
What version and release of Windows 11 are you running?
Also, make you sure only download TeamViewer from the original website.
Have you tried installing TV in Administrator Mode?

I also have the same issue with Teamviewer and windows 11. I installed Teamviewer on a new computer in the administrator account. The non-admin account, connected to the domain will not stay online.
Power settings are ok, they are always one of the first items to change. Initially forgot to allow remote desktop. This is how I have to connect.

I have the same issue on a Windows 11 pc.
I leave Teamviewer open, but after a few days TV app is closed, so I cannot connect anymore.
There is no power issue, PC never goes in sleepmode.
Anybody found a solution?

Having the same problem - any updates here?
Trying to remote control my mom's laptop - worked fine for years with Windows 10, recently upgraded her to a new laptop with Windows 11. Installed Team Viewer for unattended access, set the power options to never sleep. Works fine for a while… then device shows offline until I get her to touch any key on the laptop. Kinda defeats the purpose of "unattended" access…
