Computer on CNC machine not being able to connected to by tech support with paid account. What now?
A paid service account cannot connect to our computer even though that have many times in the past. What do we try next?
We have had our CNC company connect to their controlling computer many times over the last 4 years using TeamViewer. They set it up on the machine and we have not had any issues until now. They say it doesn't connect. The computer has access to the internet. The port is open. We reinstalled TeamViewer. All firewalls and anti-virus are turned off. No VPNs are running. there was no change on our network that we know of. The CNC computer is running Windows 7 Embedded. Our IT person was able to connect using "*connect to local computers". Because we are on the receiving end of service we don't have a paid account so our attempts to test have not had success.
