I have two groups in team viewer but when I try to move one contact to another group, Team viewer tells me that the contact already exists in that group but if I search for it in that group the contact it doesn't appear.
Hello @EmmanuelTovar ,@.Carol.fg.
You're correct. ✅
In this situation the person will need to move the device to the group that is being shared.
They can easily do it by clicking on Computers & Contacts → Type the ID on the search bar (without using spaces) → once the device shows up, right click it and select Properties → Change the group to the one that is being shared with you → click OK to save the change.
I hope this helps! 🍀😊
Let me know if you have any further questions 😉
Best,
Carol
Hello @.Carol.fg.
I already checked the group and you're right, the group have the clear cloud 😅
So, to move the contact to the other group, does the person who shared me the contact list have to do it?
Regards.
Hello @EmmanuelTovar ,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community! 🌻
Is this group with a clear cloud in front f it? → ☁
👉 This cloud means that the group is being shared with you. In a case like this, it is possible that the person who shared the group also have the device listed on their the Computer & Contact list, therefore the system would not accept a duplicated ID.
Please double check this information, and let me know if you have any further questions 😊
