Teamviewer closing connection after 2-4 minutes.

I am trying to connect to my PC in Montréal-Canada from Dominican Republic. After some time(randomly from 1-8 minutes) I will lose control of the computer and 30 seconds later the Teamviewer window will just close. No error message or 'Trying to reconnect' - it just shuts off.

I can reconnect but the same happens every time. My router doesn't block any type of traffic.

I have no problem when using my phone LTE as hotspot.

Any idea what could cause that?

Do you notice any lagging or freezing prior to the issue occurring?

Hi Josh,

Yes it occurs when I connect to any device.

I don't notice lag prior to the issue occurring. I connect and use the computer->Cursor/Screen freeze for 10-15 sec->the device window close.

It's like something is blocking the udp/tcp connection after some time. I also tried to deactivate UDP in the advanced options but the same issue occurs.

Thank you for the clarification.

Could you also let me know the types of devices in the connection? It sounds like the remote device is a Windows computer; are you connecting from another computer, or perhaps a mobile device?
