Hi guys,

I have downloaded the latest Team Viewer to my computer at work so I can access at home. I can use this computer to remote access other computer but couldn't access this computer from my computer at home. It's just keep saying I have wrong password even though I have typed the password correctly. I never have this problem before. Looking forward for assists from you guys.

Ps: I have noticed that I have 10 digits number for the ID for my work computer whereas, my other computer only have 9. Would this be the reason that causing trouble?

    Hello @Ben_Riviera17

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!

Could you please let us know if you are using the Random Password displayed in the main tab of the TeamViewer app or a Personal Password you set for Unattended Access?

If you are using the password displayed in the app, please know that this is designed to change whenever TeamViewer is restarted (or in some cases after each session). This is done for security purposes, as this passwords intended use is for one-off connections by technicians or other support representatives.

Regarding the 10-digit ID number - this is completely normal! In 2015, we hit over 1 billion devices with TeamViewer installed. As the TeamViewer ID is unique to each device, this means that we began including 10-digit IDs as well!

Thanks in advance for any other clarifications you may have!
