TeamViewer forcefully reboots clients after update installation

We noticed that a lot of our clients are forcefully rebooted after the (automatic) update. The end user just sees their laptop/desktop shutting down and rebooting.

Looking at the TeamViewer update logging, the reboot date/time matches forced reboot in EventViewer.

We have configured AutoUpdate for our Host configuration and to check for update. This time, we had the issue with the update to v15.29.4.0 but it also happened with the update to v15.28.4.0


I was wondering if there were more people experiencing this issue?

    Yeah this has caused a major issue on our laptop fleet. Even with graceful restart handling set on the Intune assignment, the user will see the graceful restart interaction for a brief moment and then the laptop abruptly restarts. Would be great if TeamViewer can shine some light on this.
