Hello,
I recently enquired as to a the packages available with Teamviewer in which I was guaranteed I could receive a free trial of their one user package. I was assured that this would be a trial and no billing would follow. I was also assured this trial would only start after activation. I had been busy with work and as such left it alone to make sure I could 'activate' the trial once I had time to figure out how the software could be properly integrated. I am now in a position where I am receiving debt collection emails having not used the software since the discussion on the phone. Due to my work I physically do not have the time to reach their contact centres during the day and having not activated the portal I could not even get on there to review or cancel the subscription. On the threatening letters at hand I am physically told that for question I should "submit a ticket" but I physically cannot. Likewise I was told to cancel the subscription by using the portal but I can not access it. I stated to the rep on the phone I do not want automatic renewal due to no card being attached to the account and she stated this would be the case. Obviously this was not stuck to and this misconduct has now put a bill through my door which I had no capabilities of opposing. Would anybody have any suggestions as to how to get through to them out of office hours?
I have even attached an image of the initial email I received stating I must read the guide before activating my licence, followed by an activation link. Suggesting that without my input, the license should not be activated. Furthermore when studying the invoice, the billing period began on the very same day I received my "trial period", displaying the full amount, further suggesting no trial was established at all and the agreements made over the phone were not adhered to.
