Remote control from hotspotted iPhone and LAN connection only?
This might seem like a strange thing to achieve, but what I'm trying to do is control my laptop hotspotted to my iPhone, with LAN only connectivity.
So I have Teamviewer on my laptop configured to exclusively accept LAN connections. When both my laptop and iphone are connected to my home Wifi, this works without a problem, and I can connect to my laptop from my the iPhone Teamviewer app using the laptop's IP.
Next, I'm hotspotting my laptop to run off my iphone. Now, when I try to access the laptop via the iPhone Teamviewer app, using the IP address assigned by the iPhone, I cannot not connect, it seems to time out after a few seconds.
Is this a routing issue with the iPhone that won't allow this kind of scenario?
