Remove Two factor authentication

Hi, i have an acccount that have two factor authentication enabled. right now it's impossible to access because i changed the smatphone and google authenticator app lost all codes. i dont have any recovery code requested of 16 char .. how to delete the two factor authentication ?

Tone87 did you end up getting an answer? my old phone died and so I need to set up the authenticator app but I don't have the QR code or set up key. I can't turn it off because I need the authenticator security code. I have the recovery code but I don't know what that is for - it says it is if you lose your phone but I still don't understand how this recovery code helps.
