Do the Teamviewer ID and Password remain constant with reboots?

Does the target computer always listen for an incoming connection?

I want to setup teamviewer in support of an out of State parent. I need to know if they have to start Teamviewer every time they need me to log in to help and if it requires a new password as well.

Yes, the TeamViewer ID won't change after a reboot.

If you want the target computer to always be ready for an incoming connection, the best way is to install the TeamViewer Host.
