someone has to help me with setting something on my laptop and they asked for access number for them to help me, which number is that and where do i get it.

    Welcome to the TeamViewer Community!

    You need to give them your TeamViewer ID and your password.

    You'll find them on the TeamViewer interface as below:

    Then, they will be able to connect to your laptop.
