Hello @Asher2008,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community!
If no password is showing up, it most probably means that the random password has been disabled in the TeamViewer options.
To get it back, go to the Options (⚙) ➜ Security ➜ in Random password, and set the Password strength to 6, 8, or 10 characters.
Let me know if this was the problem.

Hi, the random password option is not disabled on our ones but still sometimes the password doesn't show up under the ID.
Is there a way we can permanently make it so it shows the password?
Also, the version we using, we have to click on the gear icon to get to the security option. Is there a way to create a gif of this please :)

Hi @soldierboy_nz,
Thank you for your question.
I created a GIF for you showing how to access the Security section in the new interface and set up the random password strength.
Let me know if you have any questions! I'll be happy to help you further.

I had similar issue, but resolution was different. Under Advance options - Advance settings for connections to this computer. Was set to deny all incoming remote control sessions. Changing that setting displayed the password.

When only the ID shows up and no password, it's like being left halfway, stuck and unable to move forward. Just like "[removed per Community Guidelines]" — you're given a glimpse of access but denied the final key, leaving you stranded at the doorstep of your destination.
