Disable TeamViewer autostart in Windows 10 / 11
Hi,
I'd like to start TV "on demand" when needed, but I cannot find a way to disable autostart in the settings: what's the actual procedure to disable autostart in Windows 10 / 11?
Thanks, Massimo

Hi Jeank,
while the GUI run under my account doesn't show said check box, it does when run under a local administrator account.
I noticed that because when run as an unprivileged user you cannot setup unattended access, while you screenshot shows it's possible.
Now I can answer my own question: to disable TeamViewer autostart in windows 10 / 11 you have to run TV as administrator, untick the Start TeamViewer with Windows and confirm by clicking Disable.

Hi @maxferrario-MSF,
Congrats on your first post!
You can disable autostart from the TeamViewer interface directly.
You simply need to untick Start TeamViewer with Windows and confirm by clicking Disable.
Let me know if this could help!

No, at least if the user has Teamviewer Host, there is no way to see the option "START TEAMVIEWER WITH WINDOWS", I've to use with the autoruns. And is really anoying that you removed this option

This is incredibly stupid. Why is it so hard to disable autostart? The option is gone from the TeamViewer Host app, even after starting it as administrator.
