TeamViewer Requires Interaction At Remote End To Connect

We all know the purpose of TeamViewer, namely to allow interaction with a remote device, but how do you do that when the remote device just sits there with a security warning message on screen (which peculiarly references screen casting ) awaiting local interaction? (See Screenshot below).

The Remote device in this case is a Teclast P20HD Android 10 tablet on which I have installed Teamviewer Host.

Host also calls for the installation of an Add-On of which there are 2 to choose from, if I allow Host to choose then it installs the Universal one so I removed that and manually installed the dedicated Teclast one instead but it makes no difference which one is installed, the result is the same.

It could be that this is an Android 10 security measure but whether it is or not it is obviously counter productive to remote management.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

    I'm just guessing but I think you installed the wrong app on your tablet. Take a look at Connection — TeamViewer Support This is a post I just created for a user attempting to connect his Android phone to his Windows PC.

    @JGT

    Thanks for taking the time to answer but unfortunately that isn't the problem, I get that message every time regardless of which apps or combination of apps are installed. I think it must be an Android security measure but I've not been able to find it if it is.

    Edit: I think this probably explains the issue I'm having, how the developers will overcome it I have no idea.
