This is my first time using team viewer.

How do I get a password to show up under my ID number in the remote-control tab?

If you don't see any password under your TeamViewer ID, it is likely that it has been disabled.

Please click the Gear icon (⚙) in the upper right corner of the TeamViewer application and go to Security → Random Password (for spontaneous access) → Password strength → Choose your password strength → Click OK.
