Replies to tickets, timing out. Also constantly losing mail server connection with teamviewer

All of a sudden, with no change to our network, when we as admins send emails back to our customers on tickets the emails keep timing out connection and won't send. Also, about every day we get an email stating that teamviewer cannot connect to our mail server (which is in-house) and it shuts down the connection. If i go into administration and enter the password and choose "save" It may time out a couple of times but usually by the third try, all of a sudden it connects. Is anyone else having these constant timeout issues with teamviewer?

We've even placed all the necessary whitelists according to the teamviewer servicecamp instructions.
